ABOUT THE KENNEDYS:
Award winning husband-and-wife folk-pop team (The Kennedys) , have been tearing up the music scene since their 1995 debut album, the Celtic-tinged River of Fallen Stars (Green Linnet) which won the National Association of Independent Record Distributors indie award for best contemporary adult album. Their follow-up album, 1996's Life Is Large, included cameos from Roger McGuinn, Steve Earle, Kelly Willis, Nils Lofgren and Susan Cowsill to name a few -- and garnered the couple many awards, including more than 30 Wammies (Washington Area Music Awards).
Individually accomplished Pete has played with Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Nanci Griffith while Maura performed with the Delta Rays and won the New York Country Music Association's Songwriter of the Year Award.
